The prized award recognizes the major innovative advances that have been made in the manufacture of fire performance cables which play a key role in the risk management of buildings particularly in relation to fire prevention.

Winning the award was the icing on the cake for SYCABEL who maintained a very high profile exhibitor presence throughout Expoprotection, the four-day risk revention and management exhibition, which took place from 2nd to 5th November
at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.

During the exhibition, SYCABEL organised a major symposium to present the benefits of Fire Protection Cables which have adapted to meet energy performance targets required today and responded to new construction methods and legislative
changes to comply with the standards set by the Grenelle de L’Environmnent Part I and II.

Two round table debates on ‘Innovation, the motor of fire prevention’ and ‘Regulation and taking account of innovation’ brought together representatives of key organisations concerned with fire prevention. Their discussions highlighted the
benefits of Fire Protection Cables and allowed a free and open exchange of views to the topic.

Feedback from the symposium will be the subject of a document that will be published shortly.
